The Block contestants Dan and Carleen have revealed the lengths they’re going through to help their adult sons.
The couple told Woman’s Day that after being together for 32 years, they were living completely separate lives.
Carleen is living in Perth, while Dan lives hours away down the Western Australian coast, the Daily Mail reported.
“I still have commitments in Perth. Dan has two brothers who live down there and he decided he wanted to work there,” 52-year-old hairdresser said.

Dan also revealed the couple were having financial troubles, but were working hard to support their adult sons, Jacob, 26, Xavier, 24, and 21-year-old Oliver.
“We’re actually going broke doing this… The biggest challenge has been trying to get continual work and giving the boys a good education,” the 55-year-old said.
“You push yourself to give your kids a better life.”
They weren’t the best renovators, but The Block couple won fans with their antics.
Who could forget the time Carleen called judge Shaynna Blaze a “bogan from nowhere” when their room reveal did not go as expected?

I highly doubt they have "won Block fans with their antics". He's a pig and speaks to people like they're nothing. Like last night when Karlie decided to go and talk to them and he basically said Will wasn't a man because he sent Karlie to fight the battle! Grr. Horrible man.
Oh that was awful. He is a sexist pig. He seemed annoyed that a woman was talking to him about the issue and only expected to talk to the man. Ugh! Will and karlie are a team, it doesn't matter which one went and spoke to him about it. Why did it have to be Will?

Exactly! Karlie wasn't fighting Will's battle, she was fighting THEIR battle. He was so condescending and rude.
He speaks to them all like they're children! Just because you're a different generation doesn't mean you're right!!
No wonder they give so much sht to the "younger contestants" they are just deflecting their sadness and frustration onto them. Cant stand them on TV, they are very negative and very rude to everyone around them
