Dakota Johnson brought her very famous mother, Melanie Griffith, to the Oscars. Which was lovely… Until Melanie did something so mortifying, Dakota had an “I HATE U MOM, U HAVE EMBARRASSED ME FOR THE LAST TIME” moment.
Here they are, moments before the awkwardness struck.
And here’s the moving picture version of their special mother-daughter moment… During an interview with ABC’s Lara Spencer.
As you might be able to guess, the whole thing was to do with Dakota’s starring role in 50 Shades of Grey.
Shall we just… Zoom on in for a second on the moment mortification hit? Try and tell us you haven’t given your mum this exact look at some point in your life.
So, Melanie doesn’t want to see her daughter in THIS MOVIE. Truly, we wonder why..
Dakota (25) is the daughter of Melanie Griffith (57) and Don Johnson (65).
Griffith is no stranger to a sex-scene, appearing in several (read: too many to list) earlier in her career. The real question is, how many of those has Dakota seen?

im confused.. i saw an interview with Dakota and Jamie some time before the oscars, and Dakota mentioned in the interview that she didn't want her parents to see it?
I couldn't even focus on the awkward moments because I was too fixated on the fact that Melanie was talking, and her mouth moved, but her face didn't move at all - it was really weird and I had to go back a few times as it freaked me out. Did anyone else notice her strangely unmoving face?
