Pranking your significant other is all fun and games until your relationship is destroyed irreparably.
Sadly, one poor woman discovered this unfortunate fact when her partner of seven years carried out what could be the world’s cruelest prank, with her as its sole victim.
“I’m so devastated and hurt,” the anonymous Reddit user began.
“Everyone is telling me to lighten up and that this prank is ‘hilarious’, but I’m so upset.”
Her boyfriend’s genius (read: really, really awful) prank idea? To fake his own death.
“I was waiting at his mum’s house last night, waiting for him to come home from work so we could go out to dinner,” she wrote.
“That’s when I received a call from the police saying that he died in a car crash.”

If you think it sounds bad so far, just wait – because it gets so much worse.
“I was sitting there crying for two hours, and his family was comforting me,” the Redditor continues. “That’s when he comes home with flowers and people start taking videos of him. He and his family all started laughing while I was crying my eyes out.”

This is not a little matter. It appears to me that he had never loved anyone deeply or been in love before. He doesn't have any idea of how a loss of this nature could affect someone, because he has never experienced this level of emotion in the past. Big clue here as to how stable the relationship could be. Attitudes like this do not exist in a vacuum. For sure, there would be similar problems of insensitivity of one kind or another in the future. This was a warning, before your relationship would be more serious. Get the message and leave him in the dust.
Also his family has shown that they will support him no matter what he does. Beat the crap out of you, His family says "She musta done something to anger him." Run from this toxic group as far and as fast as possible. Change the locks, get a new phone number and email, and a restraining order citing emotional abuse, because that's what this is.
