Prince Harry's ex Cressida Bonas just posted a cryptic Instagram message and... awkward.

So… this is a weird one.

On Tuesday Prince Harry’s ex, Cressida Bonas, posted an inspirational quote on Instagram.

In case you missed it, the 28-year-old model-turned-actress dated Prince Harry for two years between 2012 and 2014. It’s rumoured they split up because Bonas was overwhelmed by the media attention their relationship was attracting.

The inspirational quote she posted just one day after the royal engagement announcement read: “No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, how you treat people ultimately tells it all”.

Yep, pretty standard Insta-spirational stuff… and also true.

However, a few media outlets have hinted that Bonas’ post could be a subtle jab at Prince Harry’s engagement to Meghan Markle.

One website even thought there was a hidden meaning in the image of the two people on swings reaching out to each other.

Um… probably not.

Nothing says I’m p**sed off my ex has moved on with someone else than a strongly-worded inspirational quote urging people to treat others better, right?

Right? Erm… no.

It turns out Bonas ~ like most of us ~ just really likes spreading a lil’ inspo on Instagram.
