Fitness mum Chontel Duncan's emotional confession after facing her "worst days" ever.

Instagram sensation and fitness blogger Chontel Duncan has revealed the last week has been “the worst” in her “whole career.”

Posting a brutally honest assessment of the last few days on Instagram, the Queensland mum-of-one told her legion of followers an “unforeseen” problem at work was the crux of her difficult week.

“The past 3 days have been the worst, in all of my career I would have to say this experience has been to date the biggest challenge I have ever been hit with.

“It most certainly tore me down to shreds feeling emotionally f–ked as every avenue that I tried to go down to fix this unforseen [sic] issue was unsuccessful,” she wrote.

Duncan explained that she had extended facility she runs her fitness empire into two levels. However, the disabled lift was late on delivery, and as such, it was not possible for her to hold any of her trademark fitness classes there.

Hello Grammers, The past 3 days have been the worst, in all of my career I would have to say this experience has been to date the biggest challenge I have ever been hit with. It most certainly tore me down to shreds feeling emotionally f%#ked as every avenue that I tried to go down to fix this unforseen issue was unsuccessful. I had no answers to give anyone as to what was going on because I myself could not fix what had been handed to me. What made things worse is I had done my part extremely well, this was not my doing & I felt lost first the first time ever with my career. Our business is at its biggest it has been in the 4+ years that we have been running, with all branches smashing records for their location. So this couldn’t have happened at a worst time when we are at our absolute busiest. As you all know we have extended our facility to 2 levels & due to one component being the “disabled lift” not being delivered yet, it was not possible for us to hold classes there. We stopped immediately & began the process in finding a temp lift &/or relocating for a temp lease with 72hrs notice before commencing our biggest challenge to date. What was really disappointing is this was all provoked by an anonymous complaint by someone who does not like our company. However we are extremely happy to announce that we have found the PERFECT facility only around the corner, with everything we need. The electricity will be be connected today & equipment be transferred on Sunday. Monday 17th Oct “HIIT Capalaba” will be up & running again with all classes & a private child minding room!!! ???? I do apologise for my absence on all social media platforms & thank you so much for all of your private messages, comments & beautiful words. It actually made me cry to see how much support I had from not just my friends & family but from my incredible followers. I am very humbled!!!!! Now to my HIITERS & HIIT Team, your support to help where ever needed blows me away & for staying so positive throughout this whole situation, we certainly are the biggest family & I couldn’t have gotten through this without you. No one can bring HIIT down ????????

“I had no answers to give anyone as to what was going on because I myself could not fix what had been handed to me,” she went on.

But despite what she described as the “worst time,” Duncan managed to find a workable solution.

“However we are extremely happy to announce that we have found the PERFECT facility only around the corner, with everything we need.”

Fans were quick to jump onto Duncan’s bandwagon, echoing their distaste for whoever sought to bring her company down.

“Wow, I’m so sorry you had to experience that! This truly shows your strength as a person and a company,” one wrote.

“Your drive and strength are so admirable Chontel, thank you for being such an inspiration to keep working so hard to accomplish your dreams, set goals and smashing them,” another said.

It’s not the first time Duncan has pleaded with fans to be gentle with her, in August writing about the toll social media can take after trolls criticised her for exercising through her pregnancy and after child birth.

“Sometimes people forgot that I am human, she wrote at the time.

“That I read EVERY comment, private message & email. That I am just one person & not super women. Sometimes I feel like there’s these crazy expectations but I am just one person & I feel like people forget that.”
