Children consistently delight and surprise us, and make us hoot with laughter. It’s only natural to want to share these moments with friends and family. But the trend of posting information about our young children on social media sites raises an important issue: don’t children deserve some privacy?

My problem is all the celebs (mostly z graders) are constantly tweeting & posting photos of their children to further their own career (for want of a better word).
The UK & US are rampant with it & I often wonder how the children feel about being used like that.
Problem with FB is that everyone posts all the fabulous stuff in an almost competitive, mythical frenzy. Maybe if there was a bit more truth in all the posting about how the cold hard realities of parenting & life can sometimes be it would all go away.
My photos capture a special moment/memory in my life. I feel that sometimes the special moment is lost when it is shared. Why do some feel there is a need to share everything!?
