The Nine Network has reportedly imposed a media ban on some of its most top talent following Karl Stefanovic’s split with his wife Cassandra Thorburn.
A source told the Courier Mail a ban is in place to keep Stefanovic’s private life and reports of his marriage breakdown out of the headlines.
Several interviews and photo shoots with high-profile presenters were reportedly recently cancelled.
Businesses and charities linked to the TV talent are believed to have been impacted.
It is understood Today co-host Sylvia Jeffreys pulled out of a press trip for a local Queensland business on Friday.
Sonia Kruger, who has made controversial on-air comments about immigration, is also said to be part of the 'media blackout'.
However, the Nine Network have denied the insider claims.
News Corp revealed Stefanovic's break-up just about a month ago, reporting the 42-year-old had moved out of the family home he shared with wife, Cassandra Thorburn, 44, and their children.
The presenter was said to have moved into the Bondi apartment of business mogul James Packer.
Stefanovic is yet to comment publicly on the split.
Thorburn and Stefanovic have three children together, Jackson, 16, Ava, 11 and River, 10.
