3000 pairs of shoes? Yes that’s correct. That’s the number of shoes 43-year-old singer Celine Dion admitted to owning in a recent interview with Vanity Fair magazine. Wow. Possibly. Remember Imelda Marcos – AKA The Shoe Queen? She had 2700 pairs in her Philippines palace.
Mariah Carey has also admitted to owning between 2000 and 3000
It it a little obsessive? Or is that the thing about shoes… once you start it’s hard to stop?

LOL....YES I would think people would think I was a freak or indulgent judging by the reaction of my sister-in-law (my husband's sister) when she saw some of my shoes stored in my garage...and her reaction wasn't of shear excitement as I was to talk about them with glee. I know I own over 700 pairs but I'm not sure exactly how many I actually have anymore but it's more likely to be close to 800 pairs at this point...and well people can think what they want I'm by no means thinking about their thoughts so much...too busy having fun buying shoes :-) Now what's funny is, my husband thinks I have about 300 pairs and I plan to let him continue to think that, considering my personal hope/goal is to get to the 1,000 pairs mark MINIMUM. Thus, even when I reach the 1,000th pair mark I'm STILL going to continue adding to my shoes as long as I like the style....simple as that :-) IT'S JUST PLAIN FUN! :-)
