If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been losing sleep wondering WHAT DID KIM KARDASHIAN DO WITH ALL HER WEDDING PRESENTS? Or not. Either way – here’s the answer. Seven months after her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries ended, Kim Kardashian has announced she’s keeping the gifts – but donating double their value to charity. She’s donated the money to The Dream Foundation, which grants wishes to adults with life-threatening diseases. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries reportedly earned around $17 million from the big day.
According to TMZ (we know, we know…) she wrote a note to her guests, which read: “I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift.” “It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation: An organisation that I am very passionate about.”

If the wedding was called off, I would have said definitely return the gifts.
As long as the wedding happened, whatever followed is irrelevant. It's nice to be a bit quicker with thank you notes though, even if just to reassure guests that their gift was received.
This is timley for me as one of my best friends was left by his wife and her parents asked for the $20 000 (wedding gift) house deposit back from him. I always thought a gift was a gift. He is giving it back because they have chilldren together and he dosnt want the grief when he has to see them all the time for the next 20 years! Thoughts?
