This month’s edition of Intelligent Life features an untouched Cate Blanchett. Editor of the magazine Time de Lisle said “When other magazines photograph actresses, they routinely end up running heavily Photoshopped images, with every last wrinkle expunged. Cate Blanchett, by contrast, appears on our cover in her working clothes, with the odd line on her face and faint bags under her eyes. She looks like what she is — a woman of 42, spending her days in an office, her evenings on stage and the rest of her time looking after three young children,”
Cate kicks off this week’s gallery plus there’s a bottom-less magazine cove, the longest bridal train in the world, Kate Moss‘ latest photo shoot and much more.

I like Cate Blanchett (and any other celeb) looking natural like that … did you see the Sunday Life cover of Jackie O yesterday? The art director has completely abandoned Photoshop … and moved on to Illustrator.
No photoshop, but professionally done make-up, lighting, styling and photographer, no doubt. Unlike for mere mortals, who will still be comparing themselves to her. Please. It's a good step forward, but it ain't Cate in real life running to the milk bar to pick up a loaf of bread ...(for that, thank God, we haven't yet stamped out paparazzi)
I saw her at Lane Cove Coles a while ago and she looked like she had just got out of the pool (it was summer) she had wet hair. I was trying not to stare but she looked pretty bloody good.
I see Ms Blanchett around the traps at the STC a fair bit. She really does look that good in real life. It's kind of unfair.
