The Project host, Carrie Bickmore, seems like a fun mum.
On Thursday night’s episode of the Channel Ten show, she shared a family nickname that gives her the giggles.
The mother of two said her nine-year-old son, Ollie, coined the pet name for her one-year-old daughter, Evie.
“My son’s nickname for our daughter is Beaver,’ Bickmore said.
“Quite seriously, and every time he calls out Beaver we all laugh,” she said.
She also admitted to not being a helicopter mum.
After letting Ollie walk to school for the first time, she was asked by a friend how it went.
“At lunch time I was with a friend and he said, ‘And he got there OK?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, I think’,’ she said.
The 36-year-old admitted she then emailed the school to check on her son.
But fellow host, Waleed Aly, defended Bickmore by saying it was “normal” to expect your child to get to school safely.
