Lisa Buckley has worked in a butcher shop, a restaurant washing dishes, and a cafe selling all types of coffee. She's worked with cash registers, hard machinery, and even a few snarky customers.
Lisa can do most jobs. She knows she can.
Lisa just wants a boss - and colleagues - who will give her the chance to prove it to them.

"I want to work somewhere that is kind to me and good to me," she tells Mamamia. "I have a lot to offer, I just need them to give me a chance."
Lisa, 37, has ADHD and a mild intellectual disability. It doesn't stop her from ever getting a job done; it just means she needs more time to understand.
In the past, Lisa has struggled with employers throwing her into new roles and responsibilities without adequate training. She tells Mamamia the right place for her will come along, eventually.
