Apparently? It can. Here's a fun one to start the week. A Polish woman is suing an Egyptian hotel, claiming her 13 year-old daughter returned to Poland after their family vacation expecting a baby.
If only she'd used a condom with her bikini.

"She is determined to go ahead with the case." Tourist authorities in Warsaw, Poland, have confirmed they received the bizarre complaint
How fabulous is that story? I can't tell you how much joy I'm going to get imagining the conversation that took place between Mrs Kwiatkowska and her daughter. Who says teenage girls aren't creative and resourceful?
When I was a teenager, I'd sneak out after my curfew by disconnecting the fusebox that controlled the sensor-lights in the garden. Every Sunday morning, when I finally woke up, I'd find my Dad standing in front of the fuse box shaking his head. "What's wrong with this damn thing?" he'd mutter to himself.
What's the worst lie you've told to your parents?

YoungVintage - I moved out of home at 19 and the first thing I did was buy myself a queen bed. It was actually a waterbed - how tacky!
My mother came to see my new house later that day and brought my single bed with me and was horrified to discover I had a double bed. Called me horrible names too.
She was so upset by this that I couldn't even tell her I was sleeping with my boyfriend - at 19! When my mother was married at 18 and pregnant at 19! She finally sprung me and was so upset about it. I had an 11pm curfew at 18 - when I was working fulltime. She begrudgingly let me extend it until 12.30 am on NYE, when we lived rurally, so I literally had to leave at 12.01.
Yes, I lied to her until I was blue in the face, but I bloody well had to! Thank the gods I only have a son! :)
I remember reading as an 11 or 12 year old "The Guinness Book of Records" and it was listed in there of a young girl who became pregnant after swimming in a pool. I remember my mother laughing snortingly when I read this out to her and told her this was another reason I was scared of swimming!
I once went away for a whole weekend, four hours drive away, with my boyfriend, a friend and her boyfriend without telling my mother. The boys stuffed up the accommodation, so the second night, they slept in the tent and the girls slept in the car. (Mum would have approved of this bit!). Some of my friends' mothers thought my mother was so strict that they actually colluded with me to enable me to have a social life. I do have to question that now, though, now I am a mother myself. Is it necessary for 15 year old girls to hang out til 2am with alcohol! Yes then, no now! :)
