If you thought millennials had it hard enough trying to crack into the housing market or try to find a job in a heavily saturated job market, then I hope you have enough space left in the sympathetic corner of your heart for those affected by Brooklyn Beckham‘s Instagram this week.
The victims of 17-year-old Beckham’s incessant posting of blank spaces have had enough, and they are making their plight known, one abusive Instagram comment at a time.
The source of all this horrific inconvenience is this: Brooklyn Beckham’s Instagram feed.
As you can see below, there are two blank posts for every photo. Preposterous.
What does it all mean? Is the firstborn son of Posh and Becks having some momentary brain fart that means he's lost the ability to follow social media protocol? There is, surely, no other explanation for the thoughtless and selfish way he has hijacked Instagram news feeds, like an axe to a tree, and hacked at the aesthetics of so many followers' feeds.
Yes. That must be the only explanation. No one goes this rogue unprovoked.
Except, unless, it was all for a photography book he just announced he was launching? And it's probably just a marketing stunt?
On Wednesday, Beckham confirmed the release of What I See, his first collection of images, which will hit the shelves in May 2017.

If my maths skills serve me correctly, that means the Blank Photo Victims still have another five or six months left of their newsfeeds being skeletons of their former selves, clogged with white artistic photos far-removed from their usual feed-aesthetic.
RIP those news feeds. I'm sure they served you well while they lasted.
Oh, and PS? A highly commended goes to this comment: "This blank pic gets more love than my selfies." How's that for a reality check.

If your biggest problem in life is Brooklyn Beckham posting some blank images on his own Instagram account (where he's entitled to post whatever he likes, within the rules), then you live a very charmed life indeed.
I find it disturbing that people are getting so worked up and angry about something so trivial.
