The happiest snap from Bridget Malcolm's wedding day was taken with an uninvited guest.

It’s not often that a wedding crasher will leave the bride and groom smiling from ear to ear, but an unexpected furry guest at supermodel Bridget Malcolm’s wedding last week did exactly that.

The South Fremantle-raised Victoria’s Secret model was tying the knot to musician Nathanial Hoho on Rottnest Island on Wednesday when the a quokka popped by.

Obviously they took a selfie:

The 25-year-old posted the snap on her Instagram account, declaring it the “wedding photo to end all photos” but adding a thank you to her actual wedding photographer, Salty Davenport.

“[The quokka] actually just started hopping through the marquee that Bridget had – through her friends and family – and completely unfazed by the the music and everyone walking around,” Davenport told Daily Mail Australia.

“He pulled up at the bar and I quickly grabbed the camera and had them crouch down. It was pretty cool.

“He hung around for the next half hour doing his own thing.”

It was the second ceremony for the couple who married for the first time in an intimate, mountain-top ceremony in Pennsylvania in July, 2016.

Last year, Malcolm described the Aussie nuptials as a “little extra celebration” for her Perth-based family and friends.

“It’s like our way to go home,” she told Vogue Australia magazine.

“To be honest, it’s just a reason to be with my friends that have known me for ever.”

She even wore a pink lace dress from Australian designer Zimmerman for the occasion.
