Ok, so last night a fully grown woman called another fully grown woman a c-word and hello Bride & Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings, welcome back.
We’re onto season three of this dysfunctional television show and yes, we’ll admit, we are once again like moths to a very predictable flame.
This year we have a number of family dramas to unpack – a lesbian couple who have parents that don’t accept their union, a mum who doesn’t like her son-in-law’s pot smoking and at least three mothers who can’t seem to understand that their little kids are fully fledged adults who can… choose their own partners.
Here’s Codie-Lea and Laurelle having a fight. Post continues after video.
Which brings us to Codie-Lea and Nathan, who share daughter Star Armani.
The couple met four years ago at the races, and seem pretty damn happy with each other.
He loves her bubbly smiley nature, she loves his caring heart – so far, so good.

Urgh,
Time to get rid of your mother mate or you’ll never be able to live your own life.
She’s her own toxic enemy, given that exchange.
“Grandma rights”...... no such thing.
No such thing as parental rights either.... it’s “best interests of the child”. And a 3 week old baby doesn’t have to go ANYWHERE with a grandparent.
Urgh, The ENTITLEMENT of some Mother in Laws.
I’m very glad that I have a MIL who is chill (mostly) and loves me and the kids and (mostly) respects my boundaries and their mother.... now, my own mother on the other hand........
Honestly, that woman (Laurelle) seemed absolutely unhinged, to the point of narcissism. I can see just from appearances that Codie-Lea does indeed have the tan / breasts / lips thing going on, but Nathan seemed like a nice person with a lot of sensitivity and has obviously chosen this woman to be his partner, so it's now a bit of a moot point. It should have been desperately obvious to his own mother that he was nearly in tears for a lot of that exchange. She suggested something along the lines of the fact that he was rushing into this. They already have a child together, I think the deal is now done, woman!
