The Jolie-Pitt’s seem to have it all figured out.
In every (rare) interview they’ve ever given, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been candid and honest about the surprising difficulties of raising six children, and the fierce work ethic they rely on to get through months of filming and directing.
But while Angelina has often reached out to women suffering at the hands of breast cancer, and had her own breasts, fallopian tubes, and uterus removed from 2013 to 2015 as a preventative measure, we’ve never heard from Brad about how that decision affected their family.
Until he spoke to the US Today show recently.
Angelina's choice to have a double mastectomy weighed heavy on his mind, but mainly because of the complications that could have ensued during surgery.
“This was her charge, no question. It’s a scary decision. There’s many things that can go wrong and go (in) many different directions.”
