Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston just reunited backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and their reunion WAS PHOTOGRAPHED.

The former couple, who divorced in 2005 after long being considered a rare Hollywood marriage success story, were seen together backstage after Pitt won an award for his supporting role inOnce Upon a Timein Hollywood.

In his acceptance speech for outstanding performance for a male actor in a supporting role, Pitt joked about how his character in the Quentin Tarantino film was a guy who "doesn't get on with his wife".

Of course, after making the comment, the camera panned to Aniston.

"Let's be honest, it was a difficult part. Guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife? It was a big stretch," he said.

The 56-year-old actor also jokingly referenced the rumours about director Quentin Tarantino's foot fetish. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"I'm going to add this to my Tinder profile. Thank you, my brothers, my sisters, this means so much – more than I can fathom," he said.

"I want you to know I watch everything, I watch you all, and the work has been mesmerising, so I thank you. I want to thank my costars, Leo, Margot Robbie, Margot Robbie's feet, Margaret Qualley's feet, Dakota Fanning's feet... seriously, Quentin has separated more women from their shoes than the TSA."

After accepting his own award, the actor was also seen taking a moment backstage to watch Aniston accept her own award.

The 50-year-old won best female actor in a drama series for her role inThe Morning Show.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, Pitt acknowledged the fact that he'd likely run into Aniston during awards season.

"I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend," he said.

"The second most important reunion of her year? I understand. That was a play onFriends.They were saying that," he added, referring to Aniston's famousFriendsreunion Instagram photo.

At the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Golden Globes, Aniston was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

Although nothing has been confirmed, the actress is rumoured to be dating director Will Speck.
