Man charged over death of boy, 9, hit by car on Christmas Day

The driver who hit a 9-year-old boy on Christmas Day at Springwood, south of Brisbane, has been charged over the boy’s death.

Josiah Sisson died in hospital on Tuesday, two days after he was struck while out looking at Christmas lights with his family.

The man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
