It’s impossible to walk into a bookstore or library without seeing her books. After all, there’s 29 of them – all of which have appeared on the New York Times bestseller lists. She’s sold over 500 million copies of her novels, which have, in turn, been translated into 40 different languages.
Her name is Jackie Collins, and she’s written a brand new bestseller, called Confessions of a Wild Child. And now she’s sat down for an interview with The Book Circle’s Cheryl Akle.
They talk about sex and power, the secrets of success, the future of publishing, and why women are smarter than men.

I am proud to say that I have never read an entire Jackie Collins novel. I've only ever looked at one and only managed to get through four or so chapters before deciding that this genre of literature wasn't for me. At the time I did ask a couple of friends who are major JC devotees if all of her books were the same, and they answered in the affirmative. I'd read Charles Dickens before I'd give Jackie Collins another go and I would honestly be forcing myself to read Dickens. Very heavy going !
I love Cheryl's house! It's so glamorous.
