There’s been a grim discovery in a Queensland home.
Police are treating the deaths of a man and a woman who were both found at their home on the Gold Coast yesterday afternoon, as a murder suicide.
Police were called to the home in Dotterel Drive, Burleigh Waters around 4.30pm to find 46-year-old Dave Lee in the house, and 36-year-old Melinda Horner in a car on the property according to 9News.
7News reported that Lee was inside the house, and Horner was to be believed to have suffocated from fumes in the car.
According to Brisbane Times, Lee was a stonemason and Horner a youth worker, and were found by friends visiting the home.
Forensic crews are remaining at the scene.

The same thing happened in my parent's rental unit in Brisbane in 1997. It never even made the papers. While this is just terrible, I am grateful that at least now DV is making headlines for the heinous crime that it is.
