*SPOILER ALERT*
If you live in an Australian state that hasn’t finished screening Network Ten’s The Project yet, you might want to read this when Carrie’s finished making Bachie cry.
Well, that was exhilarating.
The (slow-blinking) Bachelor Blake Garvey was on The Project tonight, casually chatting with Carrie Bickmore about dumping Sam after six weeks.
Well, that’s not how he phrased it.
Here’s what Blake told Carrie:
On why Blake proposed to Sam:
“I did that because I love Sam and because she’s someone I saw a future with and I wanted to spend my life with.”
On what went wrong:
“It’s not necessarily something that’s gone wrong. It’s just a general feeling. You just know something’s not quite right.”
On how Blake broke the news to Sam:
“We met up in person and just talked over it.
“When you have that time together and you feel that it’s not quite right, you have to listen to your heart. You have to trust your gut and that’s what I’ve done and that’s why I’m in this position now. ”
“That’s a difficult thing. It’s hard because I do love Sam, she’s just a beautiful person” *Bachie tears*
On why Blake didn’t just give the commitment ring like Tim did last year:
“I was there, I was in that moment. Maybe you get caught up in it all.”
On whether Blake’s heart is in love with someone else:
“No it’s not about that, my heart is broken.”
On whether there’s a chance Blake will end up with one of the other 29 girls:
“I think right now the focus is on this and getting past this. I mean, this has just happened and this is very raw.”
On whether Blake is worried about public perception:
“I really can’t focus on that. It’s been my journey and my journey shared with all the women.
“I’ve had my heart broken throughout this, because I’ve said goodbye to many many incredible women. All of them now. And that’s going to take time to heal.”
They say there are two sides to every story… If you want to read what Sam said about how the relationship ended check out her interview with Carrie Bickmore here.
We’ve been all over Blake recently, because he’s the media gift that just keeps on giving. He cancelled all post-final interviews. He gave some unintentionally harsh answers in an interview with Woman’s Day. He turned out to be IN CHARGE OF ALL THE STRIPPERS.
And he’s single, ladies.
On your marks.
Or not…
Big thanks to The Project and the marvellous Carrie Bickmore.
Let’s reminisce:
In other news, Osher Gunsberg makes his own podcasts, which are fun, interesting and you can listen to them while picturing his excellent Bachie hair. Check them out here.

I just read an interesting article which explains why Blake Garvey may have acted the way he did throughout the TV series, The Bachelor Australia. The author, a psychotherapist, suggests that Blake may have ADHD. Here’s the link to
it: http://tinyurl.com/BlakeGar...
No more reminiscing. It's done. The ads were bad enough…. the creepiness, the skin crawling insincerity, the general lack of attractiveness on….. what was his name? Blake? On Blake's part…. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
