Bindi Irwin and some other Irwins to join I'm a Celebrity... Get me out of here.

xWe will get a chance to find out just how much she knows when she joins I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of Here! next week.

Bindi, brother Bob, and mum Terri are all going into the jungle next Monday in a coup for Channel Ten.

They will be there for Monday night’s “What’s in the Box”, but the network wouldn’t confirm how long they would stay.

“The Irwins are Australia’s favourite and most famous wildlife warriors,” Ten chief programming officer Beverley McGarvey said.

“We are very honoured that Terri, Bindi and Robert have agreed to drop into the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! camp and we know the camp mates will be amazed and excited.

“I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! is surprising and delighting viewers around the country and this is a fantastic surprise.”

It’s of course not Bindi’s first foray into competitive celebrity reality TV, after her triumph on the US version of Dancing with the Stars last year.

And with no no hint yet how long the family will stay, or if they will all stay, celebrities that are in it to win could be getting a bit nervous once the wildlife experts turn up.

Bindi, having already proved she can conquer the dance floor, still seems pretty relaxed in more “natural” surrounds.

That is more terrifying than anything they have served up for hapless celebrities to feast on.

Oh, I didn't realise Shane Warne and Julia Morris and everyone was doing this show by voluntary agreement and dropping in. How NICE of them!
Here I was thinking it required an 18-hour international flight and millions of dollars in appearance fees. Was I mistaken?
