Married at First Sight's Susie says we're not being shown the truth about Billy.

Married At First Sight‘s Susie hasn’t come across in a very positive light on the show.

There was the time she initiated the most bizarre couple argument in the history of the universe, regarding nonexistent sweetener and surfing timeframes which reduced Billy to tears.

And that time she said he was “not manly enough” and that he needs to “grow some balls”.

It’s been a lot for her new husband to take, but in a new interview Susie has claimed that she’s being unfairly portrayed as producers have not shown any Billy’s ‘nastiness’.

“It’s 100% not how I thought it would be shown,” the 25-year-old told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny. “I naively thought that it would be both mine and Billy’s warts shown but unfortunately that’s not how it has played out.”

“I totally was not expecting for you not to see any of it, I really thought it was more interesting including all his ‘psycho ways’ as well as mine but obviously not the case.”

Susie claimed that Billy was an actor who applied for the show to further his modelling career.

“Billy is legitimately an actor, he did a degree at university so from the very beginning he made it clear that he was on the show to further his career and when I didn’t respond the same, he took 100 steps back and from that minute I was onto him and it was bit of a nightmare,” she said.

When questioned by Chrissie if she actually knew this for a fact or was making assumptions, Susie insisted Billy had told her this on their honeymoon.

“On our very first day of our honeymoon, I remember it very clearly, we were sitting in the lounge room and I asked him about his modelling.

“I’d seen his photos and they were amazing and I said to him ‘Why aren’t you modelling anymore?’, cause they were so good. I don’t know if he said it to put out the feelers or whether he just didn’t use his filter and he goes, ‘That’s why I’ve decided to do the show to get back into the industry’, then I just looked at him as if to say ‘Are you kidding, did you just say that?’ and then he goes ‘Oh, and because I want to be married as well’.

“I think he didn’t get the response he is after, that’s when he stood back a couple of steps.”

She claimed to have confronted Billy during the process, but said she wasn’t confident it would be shown based on the editing of past episodes.

Despite this, she said she didn’t hold any grudges towards producers because she signed up for a reality TV show and knew what she was getting into.
