This morning, I was feeling very much like a tight-arse.
I think the most I’ve ever spent on a pair of shoes was $200.
Meanwhile, Queen Bey just dropped $457,000 on a pair of high heels. No biggie.
For one event. No biggie.
Beyonce bought a pair of diamond-encrusted stilettos for an upcoming video according to House of Borgezie owner Chris Shellis. “I’ve been told the stilettos are for her next video,” he told Page Six.
You are probably thinking that the pair of heels is 95 per cent fabric and five per cent diamond. You are wrong.
The shoe is just diamonds. Cinderella called her fairy godmother and said, "Glass is the best you could do! Bey got diamonds!"
The pair of stilettos comes with 1,310 diamonds (that's 65.50 carrats for the diamond experts reading this). No, I didn't count them, that's what the House of Borgezie says.
They also call the heels the "eighth wonder of the world".
The diamonds come set in either platinum or 18ct gold, and the pair takes about three weeks to create.
Oh, and they are called Princess Constellation.
Bonus feature is that the heel and sole are removable. That way they can be easily replaced, making your home loan worthy shoes a lifetime investment. (We assume Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, is thrilled).
