Beyonce fans aren't happy about their idol's latest collaboration.

Beyonce fans are not impressed that the modern feminist pin-up girl is collaborating with a domestic violence offender.

Oh Beyonce, no, no, no, no, no.

An outspoken feminist, singer and all around amazing lady, Beyonce dropped her album late last year to the tune of the sisterhood. Women as sexual beings in “Blow“, women as superheroes (obviously) in “Superpower” and women overcoming the superficial stereotypes of beauty in “Pretty Hurts.

It was first-pumping, girl power-esque magic.

She even used audio from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED talk about feminism in her hit single “***Flawless,” which raises the roof (and the glass ceiling) on gender stereotypes.

But now a leaked version of Beyonce’s go-getter female anthem “Jealous” has surfaced with a verse from rapper Chris Brown included.

Yep, that’s the same Chris Brown who brutally assaulted his partner, pop singer Rihanna, in 2009. Brown pleaded guilty to beating Rihanna, cut a plea deal and spent a year in domestic violence counselling following the sorry event.

Following the release of the new track, Brown tweeted “I did the jealous remix some months ago for the Beyoncé collaboration album but it was never used. Glad you guys get to hear it.”

His tweet has since been deleted following an angry response from Beyonce’s fans, many of whom believe its hypocritical for the outspoken feminist to couple with the violent artist.

Beyoncé: Platinum Edition is due to be released this year with artists like Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Pharrell making an appearance on the album. Beyonce is yet to make a comment about the leaked track, but you can listen to it below.

Why aren't you condemning Beyonce's collaboration with Jay Z who is a stabber. Why is Chris Brown's bashing worse than Jay Z's stabbing of Lance Rivera??

it's all well and good to have ideals and morals, and in the case of celebrities, to be very vocal about them - it's whether you stick to them when $$ come knocking that shows your true character, and so often the mighty fall by the wayside
