Good news, you guys: March delivered a fat sack of new beauty launches and YES I'm going to tell you all about the best ones! Come on - as if I wouldn't!
What's that? Why am I always yelling about new products??
Oh! Well, I just want to help you spend money on stuff that's actually worth it. Products that *really* live up to their promises. Y'know?
Watch: I tried the lube primer hack that's all over TikTok. Here's how it went. Post continues below.
Also, because everyone (mum) repeatedly (once) asked me to share my loot.
Ready? Let's go!
Clinique Almost Lipstick, $41.
Clinique's Almost Lipstick in 'Black Honey' isn't technically a new product, but it's doing the rounds on TikTok right now, racking up over 20 million views under the hashtag #BlackHoney. Huge.
But why so popular?
Well, apart from the stellar formula, the viral lipstick ticks major boxes when it comes to inclusivity - it's a universal shade that suits any skin tone and lip colour.
When I first opened it, I 100 per cent thought it would go on black - but was pleasantly surprised at the deep nearly-blackberry pigment. It's more like a balm than a lipstick - and keeps lips feeling wonderfully moisturised and happy. I rate it!
Simple Booster Serum 10% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), $19.95.
Have you heard? Simple has officially launched serums! How good is that? (VERY).
I've been using this niacinamide one for the past few weeks, but there's also a hyaluronic acid one and a vitamin C one, too.
The niacinamide formula is extremely gentle on sensitive skin (has a milky kinda texture), easy to use and feels lovely and light on the skin. No stinging. No burning. No BS.
I reckon it's the perfect entrance serum for beginners or those that are looking to fill a gap in their skincare routine. Also, yay for an affordable serum that's actually good!
NUDESTIX Beachy Nudes 3pc Mini Kit, $41.
Umm... these little NUDESTIX products are So! Damn! Cute! Also: Very handy.
There are three sticks in a kit - a highlighter, a blush and a bronzer. The formulas are super creamy, buildable and easy to use. I love how they're all multi-purpose gems - each can be used across your lids or lips.
I suck at putting any *actual* effort into my makeup in the morning, so I'm keeping this little kit in my handbag for a quick and easy sun-kissed look on the go.
Lanolips Lano 101 Dry Skin Super Cream, $18.95.
Lanolips launched a new multipurpose cream for your face and body, and it's dreamy for walking flake faces like me.
Packed with TRIPLE the lanolin of standard creams, the multi-purpose formula is super hydrating and nourishing. She's rich, whipped and has a beautiful creamy texture - perfect for your winter skincare line-up.
Elizabeth Arden Lift and Firm Day Cream, $140.
If this guy looks familiar, it's probably cause he is. This is a new version of the original Elizabeth Arden's Lift Firm Cream - it's the same great formula but with five times the ceramide power. Ooft! We love ceramides!
Not only do ceramides help to strengthen the skin's barrier and protect against moisture loss, but they'll also work to nourish and smooth the skin.
Natasha Denona Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette, $38.
I totally have a thing for mini makeup products right now?? Because along with Nudestix, I've been LOVING this little palette from Natasha Denona.
I'm notoriously boring with eyeshadow, but these shades are just so friendly and wearable. They're delightfully buttery, pigmented and totally blendable - I just use my fingers and pat them on.
Espressoh Glassy Blush By The Glass, $40.
I can't stop talking about this blush. I mention it at LEAST 45 times a week. It's from Italian brand Espressoh (just launched in Sephora) and it's so. damn. cool.
It's basically a colour-changing highlighter/blush hybrid (feels like jelly) that reacts to the pH of your skin - so it goes from clear to a lovely flushed shade when applied.
TULA So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Scrub, $46.
I'm not a big facial scrub kinda gal, so I usually opt for gentle actives instead. But I gotta say - this sugar scrub from TULA Skincare is a real doozy.
It's such a beautiful formula (it's not like a scrub, scrub - it just kinda melts into your skin) that not only smells absolutely delicious (pineapple! papaya!), but whisks away oil, makeup, sunscreen and your day's face without making it tight and dry.
Everything is soft, bright and happy after use. I've been using it around twice a week and could honestly put it on my toast in the morning, I love it that much.
