Derby Day fashion is always iconic.
Every year, Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne provides serious fashion inspiration, sending many of us into an online shopping spiral.
Whether it be incredible hair pieces or shoes that are to die for, the event never disappoints.
With a strict black and white dress code, celebrities and influencers alike are forced to get creative with their looks, making a statement without the assistance of any striking colours.
It’s the ultimate challenge, and the results are always incredible. Every year the attendees experiment with unique fabrics and accessories to steal the show in a monochromatic outfit.
So… feast your eyes.
We’ve compiled all the best looks from Derby Day, because who wouldn’t want to peruse them all in one place?
This post will be updated throughout the day, so make sure you come back and check it out for new looks.

What an indictment on our society that the bulk of these "celebrities" are either WAGs, previous contestants on reality TV shows, social media "influencers" or actors from a soap opera. The special overseas guest is famous because he is associated with the Kardashians.
Do we not have any high-calibre celebrities left in this day and age?
Question - when guys wear shoes with no socks, a la James Magnussen, do they wear the little sockette things like ladies do? Or are they just walking around with their bare feet sweating straight into their shoes?
I read somewhere doctors have reported foot issues (like fungi and whatnot) are only rise because of the shoes no socks trend. Which is super stupid considering you can get those invisible/low cut socks made specifically for that purpose.
