'I've never received more compliments.' 9 women on the foundation they're loving right now.

If you're a gal who's partial to beauty, chances are you've tried at least seven million foundations to date. This is because a good foundation can be very tricky to find.

However, you'll also probably find that you're constantly switching and swapping between different formulas depending on the needs of your skin (they change!), the weather (also changes!), etc.

Like, hands up who else feels like their skin is a thirsty, flake-y mess? Because SAME. And we're only jussst nearing winter.

PLUS, with all the snazzy new foundation formulas busting out on shelves it's awful hard to stay faithful to just one brand.

Watch: We tried the 10-pump foundation hack and the results were... interesting. Post continues below.

"This newly-launched foundation is so full coverage and almost feels like paint upon application. I wasn't sure if I'd love how matte it was, but it ended up being my longest-wearing foundation ever. I also have never received more compliments on my skin than when I'm wearing this! Gosh, I just LOVE IT." - Shannen Findlay, Editorial Assistant.

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, $81.

"Not a new launch but I will always and forever be in love with NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation - it is the bomb. I don't use anything else EVER. It's $81 from Mecca but a little goes a long way. I wear it five to six times a week and it lasts me a minimum of six months.

"It just sits on my face so smoothly, stays on the entire day without setting spray, and covers any blemishes I have so easily. I don't really use a lot of concealer, etc. if I have a spot because I don't need to with this foundation. I have sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin and this foundation is kind to my skin." - Laura Koeford, Managing Editor.

Mecca Max Off Duty BB Cream With SPF 15, $22.

"My all-time favourite foundation thing is Mecca Max Off Duty BB Cream. The best bit about it IMO is the super-dewy, hydrate-y finish. I am the anti-matte gal, so this is my day-to-day holy grail prod. Plus, I love the light coverage that is also somehow exactly enough and the natural finish, the price – oh, the price! $22! This is my everyday go-to and I literally cannot get enough." - Alix Nicholson, Managing Editor.

The Ordinary Serum Foundation, $12.70.

"It's not new or cool but I rediscovered it the other day – The Ordinary Serum Foundation. It's great for light coverage and because it's a serum, it's moisturising and lasts well. Great price point too!" - Clare O'Halloran, Podcast Producer.

Flower Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation, $13.99.

"I have tried many a spendy foundation, but this truly trumps everything I've tried before. It's glowy without being oily, it covers my imperfections and doesn't settle into my skin when worn from day to night. I adore it and the price. I mean, come on. How could you not!" - Mikayla Floriano, Senior Podcast Producer.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, $68.

"I'm such a basic b**** with my foundation choice, but when I find something that works, I stick to it. I've been using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation for years now – it covers all redness and blemishes, lasts all day on my oily skin and whilst it starts off matte, it ends up looking beautifully satin. Yes, the price is higher than other options out there, but a little goes a loooong way and one bottle lasts me months." - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

NARS Light Reflecting Foundation, $81.

NARS Light Reflecting Foundation is liquid gold. The formula is silky and lightweight and gives me a dewy, natural finish which is always the goal with my makeup. It is on the pricier side at $81 but I’ve never fallen in love with a product faster and will definitely be repurchasing!" - Anisha Premawardhana, Creative Producer.

Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation, $108.

"I'm also obsessed with Elis Faas Skin Veil for nights out/more coverage. It feels like velvet, gives The Most Incredible coverage – it's a luminous, skin-perfecting MVP. While I'm usually not a matte-finish girlie, as my skin tends to be drier, this somehow just... works. It hits the sweet spot between matte and dewy, and lasts all night long without sinking into lines and creases. Not cheap, but so worth it." - Alix Nicholson, Managing Editor.

Kosas Revealer Skin Improving Foundation SPF 25, $69.

"Kosas Foundation! I have found it so difficult as someone with acne-prone skin to find a dewy and lightweight foundation that doesn't look oily. This is lightweight while still providing great coverage and has the perfect dew to it. It's expensive but worth it for me as it also has niacinamide, squalene, and other skin-friendly ingredients." - Carla Woodhouse, Campaign Executive - SQUAD.

Burberry Beauty Ultimate Glow Fluid Foundation, $92.

"When it comes to spendy foundations, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation will always have a place in my heart – but I've recently been flirting with this newest launch from Burberry Beauty. It blends easily and gives the most gorgeous, radiant finish, and I love that it's still sheer enough to see my freckles. A great winter option!" - Erin Docherty, Senior Health and Beauty Writer.
