'It's a game changer.' The Mamamia team share the best beauty product they found in 2022.

You guys, it's nearly 2023. And, no - we don't know how it happened, either. What we do know, however, is that we've all got some ~thoughts~ to share regarding the mounds of beauty products we've tried this year. Because hooly dooly - it's been interesting.

While some of them have been a total flop (thanks, TikTok), other products have shuffled their cute way into our daily routines because they're Just. That. Good.

And because no good beauty aficionado would ever dare gatekeep a good beauty product, we've asked the Mamamia team to share the one thing that made the biggest difference to their hair/skin/nails this year.

Watch: Here are seven ways to improve your skin while sleeping. Post continues below.

"This blow brush has been a GAME CHANGER for me this year. As a curly girl who can never perfect a home blow dry, this has changed everything," - Olivia Simons, Head of Client Partnerships - SQUAD.

Rimmel London Kind & Free Moisturising Tint Foundation, $19.95.

"This tinted foundation is one of my top picks for 2022 - which is a huge call from someone who tries beauty products for a living. The formula is hydrating, non-cakey and perfect for everyday wear - it's every dry-skinned gals dream!" - Erin Docherty, Senior Health and Beauty Writer.

Mecca Cosmetica Lit From Within Illuminating Primer, $40.

"This primer! It gives a subtle glowy base, without being too glowy, and it always helps my foundation last until the end of the day. When I don't want to wear foundation, I wear it alone (just with SPF on top!) because it feels so nice and light on the skin." - Jess Kingston, Managing Editor.

BIAB manicure.

Image: Supplied

"Getting builder gel or builder in a bottle (BIAB) on my nails has been game changing in 2022! I prefer it to any other types of nail products as it’s so long lasting, really helps to strengthen and grow your natural nails, and feels a lot less damaging than shellac or SNS, as your nails aren’t stripped and filed back every time you get a refill."

"Only tricky thing is its still a little hard to find salons that offer the product, but it’s so worth it! - Simone Masci, Sales Manager.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, $65 and Hourglass Voyeur Gel Liner, $42.

"It's a double whammy from me! Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter and Hourglass Voyeur Gel Liner are my top products for 2022."

"When I'm looking like death and need a bit of a pick-me-up, these two products are my go-to to bring me back to life. They've both got a perfect shimmer so they're perfect for a day or night face." - Dani Natoli, Research and Insights Manager.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum, $41.99.

Image: Supplied.

"When CeraVe dropped their new CeraVe Skin Renewing range this year, I couldn't wait to get my hands (face?) on it. It's a dermatologist-backed brand, so you know it's going to be good. But I wasn't prepared to love it this much."

"My pick of the trio (there's a retinol, night cream and serum) is the vitamin C serum. It's effective, yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin - and after trialling it over the course of two months I can honestly say my skin is so much brighter and clearer. I'll be keeping it on rotation for my wedding!" - Erin Docherty, Senior Health and Beauty Writer.

Frank Body Scrub and Cleanser, $25.

"It's gentle enough to use on sensitive skin, but also leaves you feeling smooth and hydrated. It also smells soooo good and doesn't make a mess like other shower scrubs." - Jess Kingston, Managing Editor.
