Welcome to Best and Worst (And everything in between). If you haven’t played before, here’s how to do it.
Friday is when we gather together all of our fabulous readers for a chat, armed with cups of tea and biscuits (no, not an Iced Vovo Kevin Rudd. A good biscuit – one covered in chocolate).
It’s a chance for you to give some advice, to get some advice, to tell each other what’s on your mind and what your plans are for the glorious weekend that awaits.
You can also ask questions of the Mia and the Mamamia Team and let us know if there was a particular post this week you loved and tell us if there’s an issue you’re burning to know more about.
Let’s get started.
Our best? Science. Because this week, science did a very cool things and stopped some bad guys. This week, science was basically Batman. So we’re sending science a high five, some extra Christmas presents and a whole lot of love for this little invention, that may well stop date rape FOREVER.
Runner up for best? This little guy. This little guy RIGHT HERE. Because this is Christmas spirit to the Nth degree.
Our worst for this week was the tragic story shared with us by Beth Cockroft, about the death of her 6 week old son Malakai from whooping cough. It was a death that should never have happened and shows again just how vigilant we all need to be when it comes to vaccines, awareness and booster shots. The world is not yet free of these diseases but it should be.

Salinger, a man perhaps too good for our times, who, after penning the epic saga of adolescent alienation, The Catcher in the Rye, in 1951 at age 32, only begged, like Garbo, to be left alone. Louis Vuitton Outlet http://leanppd.net/
Best - got marks back: 3 HDs, 1 D! I put so much effort into this semester and it's all paid off. Also I have got a job for next year! It all happened in less than 2 weeks and it's such a great job for me - I have been really stressed out about being an unemployed grad. It's like Christmas!
Worst - not knowing when to leave my current job. I'm waiting for the contract... and maybe until after the Christmas party (next week).
I don't have a notice period in my contract but I feel I'll be leaving them in the lurch.
Everyone is telling me not to worry about it but I feel guilty and terrible!
Congrats ParisChic! And don't feel guilty about leaving your current job to go to your new job - you will actually be freeing up a job for someone else to have, and they will be just as excited as you are now :)
