We’re here, again! The end of the week is upon us again and I for one am looking forward to the long weekend. For those who have one, yay! For those who do not, I apologise profusely.
We’ve been madly scrambling to put everything together this week around the final show in the first season of Mamamia.
It’s been a blast!
We’ve unpicked the many threads of the growing revolution in Syria and called out the wolves in sheep’s clothing in the debate about the sexualisation of children. Also on the news front, we’ve discussed why boys should have the cervical cancer vaccine , the controversial and sexualised Supre ads and the asylum seeker children waiting to be sent to Malaysia.
We heard some amazing stories this week – Kate Hunter’s account of getting her book published, the story behind creating a new home after the pain of a split and the life of a couple who aren’t monogamous. Wow. These three stories alone are blockbuster reads.
We offered some advice on telling other peoples’ news, revealed our secret online shopping shames and the many kinds of undies we wear. We also shared what we’d like to be paid $27000 to do and discussed symptoms that appear like post-traumatic stress disorder following harrowing events.
If you’re in the mood for a list – why not check out the 20 things that will make you feel old (it’s funny, we swear), the 5 reasons why he doesn’t want to have sex and the 40 weirdest things you can buy on Etsy. There’s a shark hat in there. And finger soap!

There's a New Pasta called Urbano.
By far the Best Gluten Free Pasta I've ever tasted and cooked with.
Unlike other gluten Free PAsta, this holds it's shape, can deal with being used in a PAsta Bake (Doesn't fall apart), and looks just like Pasta.
Ther's nothing worse than that awful pale transparent look, just not appetizing!
This is a real satisfying pasta.
YUM!
Best: 3 weeks from finishing my Uni degree and being a qualified teacher :-). I am LOVING being in the classroom and cant wait until I have my own class.
Worst: Sick with the flu. Both of my sisters are going through some really tough times (one with her health the other with her work) and feeling helpess in both cases.
OMM: travel...where to next? Egypt, Peru or Spain/
