A lot is said about why men shouldn’t witness their partners giving birth – apparently it’s like “watching your favourite pub burn down.”
But Journalist Ben Fordham is calling bullshit on that, and says all men should be at their birth of their child.
“What are we worried about what a bloke is watching or seeing? It’s not as bad as anyone is making out,” he tells Mia in the next episode of No Filter.

that phrase/expression "watching your favourite pub burn down.” seriously needs to be abolished. I cringe when I hear men saying this thinking they are funny or clever. How awful is that to say????? This is a woman, giving birth to YOUR child.. how dare it be compared to a pub. Just disgusting.
