Listen up, beauty lovers: The Glow has partnered with Dove Hair and Australis Cosmetics - and we're on hunt for the next big beauty vlogger through our Beauty Vlogger Idol.
What is Beauty Vlogger Idol?
Get excited, because we are looking for the best up-and-coming beauty vlogger to come and work for us here at The Glow. We've teamed up with leaders in the beauty industry, including Dove Hair, Australis and well-known and loved beauty vlogger Karima McKimmie to help us find The One. Want to know what's in store? What can I win?
The prizes for this competition are pretty impressive. The top 10 finalists will all receive a product pack from Dove Hair and Australis to the value of $200. The overall winner of the competition will receive a 12-video contract with The Glow. You'll get to work with our team to create beauty video content that will be published on our site. Oh, and did we mention you get paid for this awesome gig? The total value of this contract is $2,400.
How do I enter?
It's simple, all you need to do is:
1. Get filming. Create a video on the theme: "The best beauty hack I know". It should be a maximum of four minutes in length and must incorporate your favourite beauty tip or trick.
2. Tell us a little bit about yourself. Write a short bio and attach a picture of yourself to help us get to know the future Glow beauty vlogger.
3. Send it in. Submit your entry by email beautyvloggeridol@theglow.com.au
Videos can be submitted as a YouTube link within the email, as an attached video file (i.e. mp4 format) or clearly labelled using a file sharing service such as WeTransfer or HighTail.
Then what happens?
The Glow team will judge the entries and decide on the top 10, who will then be given a second video challenge. These finalist's entries will be published on our site for our readers to vote on. The final winner will be judged on our audience feedback in conjunction with Dove Hair, Karima and The Glow team's judgement of the entrants' ability to meet the criteria. So get cracking.
