For some of us, braids will always be out of reach.
Those of us without the arm strength, coordination, or dexterity needed will never know the joy of pulling off an amazing DIY braid. But at least we can appreciate a good one when we see it. Case in point: Bar Refaeli at the 2014 Raffaelo Summer Day.
Firstly, there’s an event for the white chocolate ball from Ferrero? How does one get an invite to such deliciousness?
Secondly, how lovely is Bar Rafaeli’s braid? Granted, she probably didn’t do it herself, but we’re coining it the ‘next-level milkmaid braid of sophistication’.
If you are not at all intimidated and want to try it yourself: her ear-to-ear braid has been gently pulled out along her hairline to give the illusion of swept back hair. The end of her thick plait has then been twisted into a bun and pinned to the crown. To help soften the look, her flyaway baby hair has been left to run free.
