Wow! So, Bob and Blanche chose themselves over their commitments to others. Call that complicated if you want, call fidelity complicated but I'd call that a character flaw to be able to hurt others and ignore your commitments for an affair.
Fidelity is actually pretty simple. Leave if you are unhappy. And Bob's not a hero for breaking it off to be PM. That's just choosing himself. AND kind of takes away from the "it was a grand love story!" angle, because clearly Bob's priority was Bob.
With Jessie on this one and found the other two very defensive!
