Bali Nine duo receive notice of their execution.

Hope is fading.

News Limited is reporting that the date has been set for the execution of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.

As per procedure, the pair have been given at least 72-hours notice, meaning they could be executed as early as Tuesday.

The men were the so-called ring-leaders of the Bali Nine, and were jailed for trying to smuggle heroin worth about $4 million into Australia.

They had been on death row in Kerobokan jail since 2006, before being transferred to execution island.

Despite Australia’s best efforts, Indonesian President Joko Widodo denied clemency to Chan and Sukumaran.

More to come.
