Balenciaga bags were affordable for almost a whole hour last week.
Lucky fashionistas bagged themselves a bargain last week after a glitch on luxury brand Balenciaga’s website saw bags listed for almost $2000 off the real price.
The advertised prices of some of the high-end handbags were missing a number, giving customers discounts reaching into thousands of dollars.
A number of bargain hunters took advantage of the cheap prices, buying up the normally eye-wateringly expensive bags and alerting their friends to jump on what looked like the sale of a lifetime (well, in the fashion world, darling).
Shopper Rachel Granick told The Huffington Post she jumped online during the 45-minute rush hoping to nab hersekf one of the most exclusive handbags in the world, just before the site was temporarily taken down.
“You’d see bags for $185, $195, $285. Certain purses in different colours were side-by-side with different prices. One would say $1,895 and the one next to it would say $195, ” she said.

But Granick’s efforts were all in vain as she soon discovered her order had been cancelled.
Outraged buyers who believe they’re entitled to the deal took to Twitter to vent against the fashion house, who has remained suspiciously quiet about the entire fiasco.
While it looks like those orders will be cancelled, we’re pretty sure there’s an empoyee who learnt a thing or two about double checking their numbers….

Ugly bags for people with too much money.
Wake up people, stuff can't make you happy, go and live your lives and stop worrying about stuff.
It blows my mind that anyone would spend thousands of dollars on a handbag! I just... don't live in that world, obviously.
