He famously told Georgia Love on The Bachelorette that he wasn’t looking for “the one”…despite going on Australia’s most popular dating show.
So, it’s really no surprise that since the show wrapped, he’s penned a blog post detailing the reasons he’s never, ever settling down.
And it's...eye-opening, to say the least.
"I couldn’t think of anything worse," Rhys wrote on his personal website.
"It sounds like I'm putting one foot in the grave already. I'm born, I grow and learn, become the man I'm going to be and then settle down? Nah not me!"
Rhys stopped by the Bach Chat studio to talk about his time on the show:
Rhys went on to describe his 'perfect' relationship, writing that he wants "a romantic partnership like I want my business partnerships".
"What I want from a woman is to brighten my day, to be the bonus in my life. To be that added extra that takes me from my everyday happy state to over the f***in moon!"
The 29-year-old said he wants to be able to "stay independent" in any future relatoinship.
"I feel if two people stay independent enough, there will always be room to continually learn from and find out new things about one another," he said.
But, Rhys fans, don't fret, because the model/entertainer is still open to finding love.
"I care about people and I would love to find the right relationship to put energy into. Just like a business partnership, I know I can achieve things on my own but with a great partner I could do so much more!"
