"We are so in love." The Bachelor's Simone Ormesher has welcomed a baby girl.

It’s been a big year for our Aussie Bachelor alums, we’ve seen engagements, break-ups and watched astrophysicist Matt choose Chelsie in a frankly nail-biting finale (we can’t have been the only ones a little… stressed towards the end of the episode).

And now, Bachelor alum Simone Ormesher, from Matty J’s season and the inaugural season of Bachelor in Paradise, has given birth to a baby girl named Gracie-Mae Thorne.

The first-time mum shared the news on Instagram on Friday.

“Welcome to the world Gracie-Mae Kathleen Thorne (Kathleen named after my Nanna),” the personal trainer started.

“More beautiful than we could have ever imagined. After a few complications with baby’s breathing she was admitted to NICU where she is being looked after, but is doing so well and will hopefully be home with us in a couple of days.

“We could not have asked for a more stronger, amazing baby girl… we are so in love.”

Simone didn’t find love or a “lasting connection” (as they like to say in Bachie world) with Matty J or any of her Bachelor in Paradise co-stars, but has been dating Matt Thorne, the father of her child, for a while now.

Simone announced in late March that she was expecting her first child.

“I can finally share with you all that we are expecting a little prince/princess,” Simone shared in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

“(Apart from constantly feeling sick 24/7) I am so happy and full of love for this little person,” she added.
