The Bachelor's Olena has announced her new and unexpected career move.

She’s the straight-talking beauty we all fell in love with on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor, and it looks like Olena will be back on our screens sooner than we imagined.

But it won’t be as our next Bachelorette. (Sad face.)

The 23-year-old has revealed she is set to pursue a career in acting, sharing the news on her Instagram page.

“So excited to be starting classes…It’s such an amazing opportunity!” she wrote to her 133,000 followers.

The Ukrainian model said being on reality TV “opened her eyes a lot” to the “beauty of television”.

“Instead of doing reality tv being my self I get to tell someone else’s story,” she wrote.

“I have never done acting before & I’m so excited to get started on this new adventure.”

While fans were quick to congratulate Olena on her next career move, it was her Bachelor Mansion bestie, intruder Steph Dixon, who was the most vocal.

“Yassss baby cant wait to see you back on the big screen,” she commented, before adding, “Move over Margot Robbie!”

Olena is just the latest Bach alumni to announce their next career step, with Georgia Love revealing she’s set to co-host a number of Studio 10 episodes over the holiday period.

So....she doesn't have a new job, she's just enrolled in some acting classes. Her and half of Australia's models. Doing classes is NOT the same as winning an acting job or becoming an actor - it is a bloody hard slog!
