Brooke was runner-up on The Bachelor 2021. She's just hard-launched her new girlfriend.

Brooke Cleal is known to most Australian reality TV fans as the 'stage-five clinger' on Jimmy Nicholson's season of The Bachelor.

She placed runner-up on the 2021 season, receiving an edit that made her seem a tad unhinged compared to Jimmy's eventual winner, Holly Kingston, and hearts broke across the nation when Brooke ended up being dumped at the final rose ceremony.

It's been almost two years since that fateful finale aired and Brooke is ready to share that she's found love again.

In an Instagram carousel, Brooke debuted her relationship with Alyssa Viktoria.

"This post is not only about opening up about one of the most loving, liberating, empowering relationships... but also the struggles I have experienced behind the scenes and the progression I’ve made within myself and my sexuality in the last two years," the post began.

Brooke announced via her hashtags that she now identifies as a queer person who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

"I’ve been so torn between excitement and fear for months, mostly worried of rejection and scrutiny for the second time in my life. The suppression of my feelings caused sleepless nights and significant frustration and questions."

Addressing potential critics who might wonder why she competed on a historically heteronormative dating show like The Bachelor, she said, "People have asked me if I knew about this before the show – the truth is perhaps it was always there without acknowledgement, understanding or exploration."

In the post, Brooke described what drew her to Alyssa.

"She had this energy so individualistic, I just magnetised. Full of fun, charisma, intellect and wit continuing to leave me speechless," she wrote.

"I’ve found someone to slow down with and share something so real @alyssaviktoria_ you inspire me every single second of the day and I’m so in awe with you!"

The post has been flooded with positive comments from The Bachelor alum, including Alisha Aitken-Radburn, Chelsie McLeod and her 2021 co-star, Carlie Hodges.

Brooke's reality TV ex Jimmy recently married his winner Holly in a luxe wedding in Sydney's Palm Beach after getting engaged in 2022. In recent weeks, they've been enjoying a European honeymoon together.

Brooke and Alyssa are currently living in London. Maybe a cheeky stopover and Bachie reunion is on the cards? We'd love to see it!
