Last year, Daniel Stirling’s life was ripped apart.
In January his heavily pregnant partner Sarah Paino, 24, was killed in a Hobart car crash caused by teens driving a stolen car.
Miraculously, their son Caleb survived.
Now, 18 months on, the young father has spoken to Channel Seven’s Sunday Night about what life is like raising the little boy, and his brother, without Sarah.
Unsurprisingly to any single parent, Daniel described his day-to-day as "full on".
"It's a very full-on gig. It's a full-time gig," the father-of-two tells Sunday Night's Mel Doyle in a preview of the interview, which will air on Sunday at 8.30pm.
