There’s no doubt the modern-day dating scene is a tough one to crack. Between dating apps, social media and the ability to hide behind a keyboard, rejection is getting more brutal and abuse that little bit more savage.
And one Reddit user has discovered the hard way just how ruthless the dating scene can be.
The user, who goes by the name ToastedCookieOats, has shared a string of peculiar text messages between himself and a woman he had recently been on a date with, proving no amount of niceties may save you from a string of abusive messages.
It started normally enough. He followed up their coffee date with a “great to meet you text”. Within minutes, they were insulting each other about everything from balding heads to the other’s weight.

100% her fault. He was polite and honest. Then she decided to get personal and insulting. He then had every right to defend himself.
Another example,of why I so hate dating,i'm shy and massively scared off of dating because of all my bad experiences. So much effort, for in my experience so much hurt. As Kamal would say "People can be so unkind".
What a nasty bitch!
