Six telltale signs you've got a case of exercise burnout.

 

Exercise burnout can really impact your attitude towards keeping fit, dampening your motivation and enjoyment.

The problem is, you often don’t see it coming or notice it’s taken hold. You might find yourself feeling crankier than usual, or struggling to get out of bed in the morning, but put it down to something else altogether.

Burnout can present differently in different people, so there’s no ‘one size fits all’ way of identifying it. However, there are some common warning signs.

In this video, Sydney-based personal trainer Natalie Carter talks us through six of the main indications of exercise burnout — and some useful techniques for overcoming it so you can get back in the game.
