Australian twins announce plans to marry the same man, their shared boyfriend.

Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 30, the self-proclaimed “world’s most identical twins” have announced via their YouTube channel that they plan on marrying the same man.

The pair from Perth, Australia, met their shared boyfriend Ben Byrne, 32, on Facebook five years ago.

“We’ve been with him for five years so he’s twinning and winning,” they said. Ben is a fraternal twin, so they say he “understands the twin thing and the very close bond we have with each other”.

Anna and Lucy have dated separate boyfriends in the past, but said they didn’t “understand [their] closeness. Ben understands we want to be together all the time.”

The three share a bed and live with the twins’ mother.

“…We’ve been thinking, how is that going to work? Many debate is it possible? Can it really work? I don’t really know,” they asked in the seven minute video which has been viewed more than 36, 000 times.

“We’ve actually heard in Tucson [America] you can get married,” they said. “They should like…can they legalise two women marrying the same man?”

If it’s not legally possible, they said they would just have “something small” like a commitment ceremony.

But their biggest concern are their dresses, which would of course, have to be matching.

The identical twins came to public attention years ago when they shared news of their shared boyfriend via social media.

Anna and Lucy have also spoken openly about the $250,000 they’ve spent over ten years on cosmetic surgery and beauty treatments. The pair appeared on US show Botched, which specialises in plastic surgery, in an attempt to make their breasts identical.

In March of this year, the social media personalities appeared on SBS program Insight which explored the relationship between identical twins.

“We want to weigh the same, we have to have our bodies the same... If I got pregnant, Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight away, because our bodies need to be the same," Anna said.

Yesterday on Facebook, the DeCinque twins thanked fans for their support and expressed their gratitude to "the love of [their] life Ben for always being there...We love you so much."

Their YouTube video also included a message for their "haters".

“We have people on the internet talk crap about us. We are happy with our lives. That’s how we want to live and we are not hurting anybody,” they said.
