This is going to make for a very interesting season.
My Kitchen Rules is set to return to your TV next week. And the controversy is already bubbling over for two of its contestants.
Melbourne friend Camilla Counsel and Ash Pollard have been cast as the “posh pair” on the show.
But in a recent interview the culinary due have said they are happy to be labelled that way.
“I’d rather be the posh girls than the bitches,” Camilla told The Daily Telegraph.
“Obviously we are being painted a certain way and I think initially I was a little bit frightened of that, but now I think Camilla and I are really embracing it,” Ash added.
They also managed to sneak in a dig at fellow contestants Jacqui Bakhash and Sharon Sellings from Queensland.
“People say Jack and Shaz sound like Kath and Kim. We just run with it,” Ash said.
The two couples have been pitted against each other in promos for the show. It’ll be interesting to see how it all goes down.
With this much tension so early on, we’re expecting fireworks.
