A big week in news this week and we’ve got the pics to prove it. Let’s start with these ads from the USA. They’re definitely attention-grabbing, they’ve been labelled as offensive and over the top. What do you think?
Also in the slider, there’s the picture of Kate Moss that sold for a record £16,000, the protesters who weren’t happy when People Magazine names Bradley Cooper as the Sexiest Man of the Year and pics of the gorgeous Princess Mary as she toured Australia with husband Prince Fredrick of Denmark.
Enjoy.

That US ad against sleeping with your baby is RIDICULOUS!! I knew someone who worked in our public health system with mothers affected by drug/alcohol addictions. I was horrified to hear how often babies to these mothers were accidently rolled on and suffocated. There were even cases when a mother had lost more than one baby this way. I do not believe that a mother sleeping with her baby is dangerous, unless they are affected by drugs (illegal or prescription), alcohol or an illness that affects her sleep (and the same goes for the father or anyone else sharing the bed!). There are plenty of countries around the world who haven't forgotten that it is necessary to nurture babies and keep them close to mothers from birth.
Hating the picture with the baby and the knife. I get what they're trying to say, but personally, I did the "right thing" with my first child and never slept a wink. With my second child I did co-sleeping for the first few months and I actually got some sleep! These days you can buy a product called a Safe Sleeper which is a small bed that fits between you. Why not just recommend using something like that, rather than telling parents that they're going to kill their child? (After all, isn't sleep deprivation just as dangerous?)
