Why zebra print, neon pink and disco lights are a bad idea for your home.

Famous footballer gets criticised for his interior decorating style.

He’s not well known here in Australia, but English footballer Andy Carroll has plenty of fans in his home country.

Fans who are now mercilessly mocking the 25-year-old and his reality TV star fiance Billi Mucklow, over images of the couple’s new home.

And if we're being honest, we can see we're they're coming from. These images could be the ultimate proof that money does not buy taste.

Andy, who earns around $161,000 a week, showed off the master bedroom's mirrored ceiling while 26-year-old Billi posted snaps of their lounge room, complete with zebra print wall paper and fuchsia furniture.

The pink theme continues though out the house with a neon pink beauty salon with a Snow White mirror with the words ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall’ written in pink lights.

Christmas appeared to be a disco affair with neon pink and purple strobe lights projected on to the ceiling of the mansion’s dining room.

While Billi's Instagram followers praised the interior decoration, Andy's were not so kind.

"Bruv, why did you let her have a pink sofa? That’s the worst room I’ve ever seen," one commented.

Others agreed it was ‘naff’, with one saying: "Footballer, Essex, Reality TV person. Really was never going to be a bastion of taste was it?"

Well, to each there own, we say.
