Celeb in 5: Tuesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. The Bachelorette Ali Oetjen’s latest interview seems to strongly hint that she’s single.

Well.

It looks like we might be getting a re-run of the Honey Badger’s The Bachelor finale.

In a new interview, The Bachelorette’s Ali Oetjen seemed to hint that she may be single after all.

When asked about whether she found love on the show, the 32-year-old told the Courier Mail, “I’m very happy. I just feel at peace, calm and content, it’s very nice.”

“I can’t really hide that I’m very happy,” she added.

But when asked again if she’d found love with one of the contestants, Ali simply said, “I’m just really very happy”.

She doesn’t, however, say she’s happy because she’s found love.

Woman’s Day have also reported that Ali has already moved on from The Bachelorette winner.

Um, is Ali just keeping the finale a secret, or did she actually not end up with any of the boys?

Only time will tell.

2. Bride & Prejudice’s Jess has responded to her mother-in-law Fatima’s barrage of insults.

Channel Seven’s reality dating show Bride & Prejudice is back for another drama-fuelled season.

And just like last year, this season is already full of gobsmacking moments.

But one of the most shocking moments of all was young couple Jess and Seyat’s conversation with Seyat’s mother Fatima.

After hearing her mother-in-law-to-be call her “sooky, dirty and disgusting” on the show, 20-year-old Jess has responded to the comments on The Morning Show.

“I was pretty shocked with some of the comments about the way I dress and that I smell like cats. It was pretty emotional to watch her say those things about me,” Jess said.

Jess also shared that her own mother became very upset after watching Monday night’s dramatic episode.

“For any mother it would be hard watching that, especially for her own daughter to see how she’s been treated and upset.”

3. Dave Hughes shares how he was inadvertently involved in this year’s The Block finale.

This time last year, Dave Hughes found himself making a $3.067 million bid on an Elsternwick home, which made Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles the 2017 winners of The Block.

And apparently he was also involved in this season’s finale. We just didn’t see it.

During Norm and Jess’ tense auction, we saw a shot of Nicole – the buyer’s advocate – run outside to make a phone call to a potential buyer. The bids had come to a standstill after reaching their reserve price of $2,650,000 and they were trying to raise the price. Alas, the person on the other end of the line declined.

Sharing the story on his Hit Network radio program with Kate Langbroek, Hughesy came out as the mystery potential buyer.

“Nicole rang me. I got a phone call. Random,” he said on air, explaining that someone had registered his interest without telling him.

“I knew they’d done it, but I didn’t ask them to do it,” he explained.

“I didn’t disagree with them doing it… I consented after the fact.”

Luckily, a buyer eventually came in with the winning $2.859 million bid, which meant Norm and Jess left the competition with a profit of $209,000. Not bad for a pay day.

When news broke out of Hughesy making the winning bid last year, it was revealed his wife had asked him to keep his purchase on the down-low, before headlines of his new investment property made news everywhere.

Although he didn't jump at the new and refurbished Gatwick properties, it would seem as if he's learnt his lesson.

4. Zoe Kravitz has recreated her mum Lisa Bonet’s iconic Rolling Stone cover 30 years later.

Thirty years after her mum's then-scandalous Rolling Stone cover shoot, Zoe Kravitz has recreated the cover by appearing naked on the publication's November 2018 edition.

The 29-year-old actress posed for the cover of the magazine's Hot Issue, styled exactly the same way as her mum Lisa Bonet appeared inside the 1988 Hot Issue.

The similarities between the shots are incredible, from the sweated fringe and crimped waves to the body positioning.

Of course, in the late '80s, a woman couldn't appear nude on the cover of a magazine unless it was porn, so Bonet's cover shot was one of her wearing nothing but a sheer white shirt.

Kravitz told Rolling Stone she wanted to pose nude on the cover to pay tribute to her mum's nude shot never made it.

“I think [Bonet] was a little bummed when they used the shirt picture as the cover, I think she just thought, ‘I’m doing it, let’s do it!'," she said.

“It’s less about the picture... and more about doing the thing my mum intended to do. That feels cool."

5. The clip of Lady Gaga everyone needs to watch the moment they finish A Star Is Born.

Since A Star Is Born was released, and has been met with commercial and critical success, a clip of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, who goes professionally by Lady Gaga, from 2005 has reemerged.

Then known as Stefani Germanotta, the video features her at Ultra Violet Live, New York University’s annual talent show.

The footage was posted to YouTube in 2009 and has amassed more than seven million views.

Her outstanding voice, it would seem, has been there since the beginning.
